By accessing or using Legacy Africa (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable South African laws, including POPIA, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECTA), and the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA) where relevant.

Legacy Africa acts solely as a facilitator. No employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship is created between Legacy Africa and any user, or between users themselves, by reason of using the Platform.
To use the Platform, you must:
Any interactions, arrangements, or agreements arising from connections made on the Platform are solely between the users involved. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence, for any information you share, and for any disputes or consequences arising from those interactions. Legacy Africa bears no responsibility for off-platform conduct or outcomes.

All Platform content, software, design elements, and underlying systems are the intellectual property of Legacy Africa and are protected by applicable law. You retain ownership of content you create and post, but by submitting content to the Platform you grant Legacy Africa a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content for the purposes of operating and improving the Platform.
Legacy Africa reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at its discretion, including (but not limited to) where you breach these Terms. Termination may occur with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the breach.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Legacy Africa shall not be liable for:
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including the CPA where applicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
